Diane & Daniel

Diane and Daniel, originally from Aizawl, Mizoram, now based in Delhi, were both thoroughly exposed to music in the church since childhood and brought up in musically adept families. Aizawl's rich musical culture provided the perfect backdrop for their formative years, shaping their passion and talent for music in profound ways. 

Diane is a singer-songwriter whose vigorous love for art and music led her to a holistic comprehension of genres of all kinds, now primarily focusing on gospel, r&b and soul. Being self-taught, she draws heavy influences from artists such as Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, Alicia Keys, Snoh Aalegra, Allen Stone and Norah Jones. She is also the vocalist for Fyuz Experience, a jazz fusion ensemble inspired by legends like Stevie Wonder, Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck and Dirty Loops. Diane sets her sights on creating a discography that reflects her creative evolution and musical depth, with exciting projects on the way. 

Since the age of 9, Daniel has had a special tie with music, playing a colourful array of instruments in the church, such as guitar, trumpet, bass and piano, and soon after, picked up the guitar as his forte. Influenced by visionaries such as Steve Cropper, BB King, Prince, Bob Marley and Carlos Santana, Daniel has since been expanding his knowledge and skill set in diverse music genres ranging from hip hop to soul
