About Manta Sidhu
Born and raised in New Delhi, Manta is a veteran of the Indie
music scene. A renowned Musician with hundreds of live shows
under her belt, she has led bands like M.A.P and The Manta Sidhu
Ensemble, a vocal harmony group, amongst many other notable
collaborations. An unparalleled vocal coach with over fifteen
years of teaching experience, she lends her training talent to The
Music Academy, Gurgaon. When she’s not spinning melodies,
she’s being her awesome self as the head of People For Animals,
Gurgaon. Helping our furry friends has held massive purpose for her
and she has actively cared for animals for over twenty-two years.
The Vision of the Choir Club
In a growingly disconnected society, Manta wanted to bring
together an inspired community of people who aren’t
professional musicians or have any kind of formal training, but
only a love for singing. It is about Coming together every week to
eat, drink and sing together in a safe space where self-limiting
beliefs about having no experience as a vocalist are left well
behind! Whether it is pop songs or classic ones, (or some that
Manta plans to write herself exclusively for the choir) , this
promises to be an excellent opportunity for people over 25 to let
their hair down.
