You Turn is on a mission to bring rock ’n’ roll back to this generation, driven by powerful talent, a distinct sound, and unstoppable energy.
Guitarist and vocalist Soham Mallick began his musical journey with Hindustani classical music at the age of 11 before discovering rock, eventually becoming a founding member of the band and shaping its core identity. Prateek Mukherjee, on lead guitar, has been active since 2007 and is known for his work with String Theory, Tarkash, Qareeb and Nuur. Inspired by BB King, Eric Clapton and Joe Satriani, his electrifying riffs take the band’s energy to another level.
On bass is Salil Malhotra from Lucknow, whose funky grooves and rock sensibilities - shaped by influences such as Marcus Miller, Pino Palladino, and Nathan East, add depth and drive to the sound. Pratik Khati, a professional drummer from Kalimpong now based in Delhi, brings 17 years of experience across rock, pop and funk, forming the rhythmic backbone of the band. Completing the lineup is Izhar Aghai Ali Khan, a Delhi-based violinist who blends soulful Indian classical elements into modern rock and fusion arrangements.
Inspired by Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, and Deep Purple, You Turn delivers a high-energy live experience built to bring the house down,
