The Blind Date is a mystery + comedy play based on Peter Coke’s short story In Confidence that follows the interactions between a tourist lady and a retired colonel as they engage in a playful game of deceit and manipulation.
Set in the backdrop of Goa, the retired colonel pretends to be a buyer of a
prized article, while the lady claims to be a lost tourist in need of money. As they weave elaborate lies to one-up each other, their comedic banter and clever schemes
create a light-hearted and entertaining narrative filled with mystery with humorous twists and turns. As the story unfolds comedic, misunderstandings and witty dialogues,
lead to a delightful and engaging human behavior and theatrical experience for audiences.
