Consisting of former law students with a shared love for alternative and independent rock, we started playing songs together in July 2023. We christened ourselves Ladyship and set out to perform our first gig to a crowd of roughly 60 people last September. The performance was a raging success, and our fans have been consistently demanding another show. Since then, Ladyship has been putting together its first set of original songs for streaming and playing live at the best venues in the city. Inspired by pioneering bands that pushed the genre forward, like Peter Cat Recording Co., Radiohead, The F-16s, The Rolling Stones, and The Strokes, we write songs for an ever-growing crowd that’s hungry for a fresh sound.
