Play Synopsis:-
A man is unhappy that the female pilots of the Indian Air Force will now be carrying out the same duties as men in the event of a war. These will include entering and bombarding the enemy territory. He believes that women lack the qualities required for such missions.
Then he happens to read these stories-
1) BOHNI- A poor paan seller woman believes that the 'bohni' (first sale of the day) at the hands of the narrator Ramcharan is lucky for her. For this purpose she pursues him everyday, thus showing great perseverance and out of the box thinking.
2) DHAPORSANKH- A simple housewife proves to be far more sensible than her intellectual husband.
3) KHUCHAD- A woman devises a clever plan to teach a lesson to her arrogant husband, thus revealing her capacity for strategic thinking.
The man who believed that women weren't men's equal in matters of war is now forced to change his views and celebrate gender equality and women's empowerment.
