World Sonic Stories, an ongoing curatorial initiative by Honar Production, returns to Pianoman Jazz Club with its second edition—continuing its vision of bringing distinctive musical narratives from across the world onto a shared stage.
At its heart, World Sonic Stories is about dialogue—between cultures, traditions, and contemporary expressions. This edition presents the Sina Fakhroddin Collective, a specially curated ensemble that brings together a constellation of musicians who have collaborated with Sina Fakhroddin across diverse projects over the years.
Taking place on 28th April 2026, the evening will feature original compositions by Sina Fakhroddin, woven through a rich tapestry of sound. The performance unites his project WEME (West East Music Ensemble) with artists from his extended musical journey, creating a rare confluence of Indian and Persian classical traditions alongside jazz and Western classical influences.
The stage will host an exceptional lineup of maestros and virtuosos, blending instruments and styles that seldom meet, yet find a shared language in improvisation and composition. From the meditative depth of the sarangi and kamancheh to the rhythmic intricacies of tabla and mridangam, and the expansive textures of guitar, cello, and didgeridoo, the concert promises a deeply immersive sonic experience.
The evening will also feature special guest appearances, adding further layers of spontaneity and surprise.
