    Led by acclaimed Hindustani classical vocalist Dr. Ujwal Nagar, the Rang-e-Khusro ensemble is a five-piece project that explores the poetry and compositions of 13th-century Sufi mystic Amir Khusro through a contemporary musical lens. Conceived as a living conversation between classical tradition and modern expression, the project seamlessly blends Hindustani vocabulary with new harmonic, rhythmic, and sonic worlds.

    The ensemble brings together a diverse lineup of accomplished cross-genre musicians. Alongside Dr. Ujwal Nagar (vocals/artistic direction), a PhD scholar and founding lead vocalist of Advaita, the group features Rohit Prasanna, a Banaras Gharana flautist known for blending classical traditions with modern fusion. The rhythm and harmony are driven by jazz-trained keyboardist Ashwin Krishnan, Dilli Gharana tabla player Anubhav Singh, and acoustic guitarist Pranay Verma, who specializes in Brazilian music, jazz, and soul. Together, they deliver a performance shaped by improvisation, cross-genre musicianship, and deep reverence for the tradition.
