Born in the hills of Dehradun, Gini picked up a bright blue guitar at the age of ten and never really stopped strumming. A free bird at heart, she creates music purely for the joy of expression and is known for the emotional depth of her songwriting and the quiet power of her live performances. Over the past year, she has taken her music across India, performing at multiple shows including a self-curated tour of the country.Sharing the stage with her is Janisht - an artist, composer, lyricist and creative director who jokingly calls himself a “socially intolerant uncle.” Known for writing emo indie-rock belters, he pairs sharp lyricism with an expressive sound, often pretending to be annoyed when audiences end up loving him for it. Together, Gini and Janisht bring an honest and emotive live set that blends intimate storytelling with heartfelt indie rock.
