From the quiet town of Solan, Himachal Pradesh, Sutej Singh has risen as one of India’s standout progressive rock guitarists. Inspired by legends like John Petrucci, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, and Steve Vai, his music blends technical precision with emotional depth.

His debut album The Emerging (2018) topped Apple Music India’s Rock Charts and featured collaborations with acclaimed international musicians. In 2023, his single Land of Gold earned praise from leading publications, cementing his reputation as a serious force in the genre.

On stage, Sutej has played everything from intimate venues to iconic festivals. He’s opened for Steve Vai in Bengaluru and Mumbai, performed at Independence Rock, Oddball, Ziro Festival, Bandland, and completed his third India tour in 2024.
