Geetu Unplugged, a seasoned Contemporary Folk singer-songwriter; has been performing for several years now. With many live shows & album releases behind her, she went into hibernation for a bit to work on new material. As she evolved so did her body of work. Her new set of songs talk about Divine Grace.
Songs of Grace is a set of songs that she has put together to draw the listeners attention to religious and philosophical tolerance. She believes that the tenet of every religious philosophy is broadly the same. The principles that one is expected to live by for every religion/philosophy is interchangeable. The space where they may differ is in the rituals they observe & practise.
Through melody and verse, Songs of Grace invites audiences on a journey of reflection, celebrating our shared humanity while honoring the diverse paths we walk toward the same universal truths.
John Coltrane the famous American Jazz Saxophonist once said that this is what he was taught in Sunday School... The kingdom of God is within you. And everywhere you go you Leave a little Heaven behind.
