Pekka Pylkkänen is a celebrated Finnish saxophonist and composer, widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading jazz artists. With a career spanning over 70 countries and more than 2,000 performances, he has headlined major festivals including the Hong Kong, Copenhagen, Pori, and Beijing Jazz Festivals. Known for his dynamic tone and global collaborations, Pekka has performed with top artists across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Roberto Tarenzi, an acclaimed Italian pianist, has performed and recorded since the mid-1990s with jazz legends like David Liebman, Max Roach, and Enrico Rava. A finalist in the 2006 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition, judged by Herbie Hancock, he has performed extensively across Europe, the U.S., and Japan. After relocating to Rome in 2008, Tarenzi began close collaborations with Stefano Di Battista, Rosario Giuliani, and other top Italian artists, establishing himself as a leading figure in contemporary jazz.
