This week, we feature Sitar Player by M.F. Husain, one of India’s most celebrated modern artists. Known for its narrative and Cubist-inspired style, the painting reflects Husain’s bold vision—earning him frequent comparisons to Picasso.

Your guide, Dyuti Mittal is an award winning artist and design educator with over 15 years of experience as a post graduate in Visual Communication Design. Having studied at Srishti School of Art and Design, SVA New York, UCA London and with certifications from IIT Delhi, she has in recent years taught design at various institutes of the country. Her artworks have been exhibited at various galleries of the country. She avoids definitions and her work tries to create an equal, beautiful and sensitive world where innocence and individuality are celebrated.
