Kankana and Rohan met online in 2022 over a missed gig and a shared love for jazz, pop, funk, and bossa nova. What began as casual jam sessions soon grew into Ink & Strings—a duo with a warm, genre-fluid sound. Since 2024, they’ve been performing across Kolkata at venues like Soyyum, AMPM, and A Ta Maison.

Beyond the stage, they’re active in the indie music community— collaborating, attending workshops, and expanding their sonic range. They are currently working on Sounds of Time, a collaborative project featuring fellow artists and aimed at delivering a nostalgic, memory-rich experience. Now, they’re ready to take their sound to audiences across India and beyond.
