As part of Alliance Française de Delhi's 70th anniversary celebrations, join us for a special edition of Gourmet Cinema, organised in collaboration with The Piano Man New Delhi (Eldeco Centre), a partner that, much like AFD, believes in bringing people together through meaningful cultural experiences, conversations, and creativity.
For this unique evening, we have chosen Queen (2013) by Vikas Bahl (with English subtitles), a film that celebrates personal growth, discovery, and the courage to step beyond familiar boundaries. As Alliance Française de Delhi marks seven decades of fostering cultural dialogue and opening windows to new worlds, Queen feels particularly relevant: it is a story about embracing the unknown, finding one's voice, and discovering that meaningful encounters often happen when we least expect them.
Join us for a screening of Queen, followed by a culinary experience inspired by the film. Our chefs will reinterpret some of the movie's memorable flavours through a curated Indo-French menu that reflects the spirit of cultural exchange at the heart of our institution.
