GenNext Collective is a contemporary 7-piece musical ensemble bringing together the next generation of India’s most celebrated musical legacies. The core lineup features Ananya Wadkar (vocals), Shikhar Naad Qureshi (percussion), Kaushiki Joglekar (keys), and Hrishikesh Majumdar (flute), alongside Kakkey (vocals), Vikram Bam (guitar), and Tanay Rege (tabla).
Blending classical roots with folk, fusion, reimagined Bollywood, and original compositions, the collective creates a sound that is both deeply rooted and distinctly modern. Their original works include “Parchayi”, a reflection of the band’s journey, and “Chaturang”, created in collaboration with tabla maestro Ojas Adhiya.
Since its formation in 2025, GenNext Collective has performed at prestigious platforms including the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), a collaboration with Sangeet Kala Kendra (Aditya Birla Group), and a public showcase at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, alongside featuring in events with legends like Sh. Purbayan Chatterjee.
More than just a band, GenNext Collective represents a new wave of artists honouring legacy while carving their own voice in contemporary Indian music.
