Cyprus-born guitarist and composer Odysseas Toumazou presents Origins, a deeply personal performance featuring original compositions inspired by the people, places, traditions, and experiences that have shaped his identity. Rooted in memory yet firmly connected to the present, the music carries the knowledge of the past into an ever-evolving contemporary sound, creating a performance that is both intimate and universally resonant.

Joining him are Manos Stratis on double bass, whose work explores the intersection of Middle Eastern and Western musical traditions, and Vassilis Philippou on percussion and vocals, whose artistic practice draws deeply from the musical heritage of the Eastern Mediterranean and his ongoing exploration of sound and space.

Together, the trio weaves personal and cultural histories into a distinctive contemporary musical language—honouring their shared roots while embracing creativity, dialogue, and new possibilities.
