BCN Collective is led by Spanish saxophonist Jonás Oliver, whose command of both alto and tenor moves fluidly across jazz, funk, soul, Latin, pop, and rock. His vision brings together musicians from India and Spain, blending different traditions into one dynamic sound.
On bass, Divij Kapoor lays down a powerful low end shaped by years of study under Brennon Denfer, Hitesh Madan, and Obed Zeme. Having earned distinction in every Rockschool examination and topping the highest level nationwide, Divij brings both precision and groove to the band.
Aditya Bhagavatula, a drummer from New Delhi, fuels the rhythm section. Trained by Manoj Mavely since the age of four, he’s now a driving force in India’s funk scene with The Revisit Project and has collaborated with Pineapple Express and Ustaad Ma Zila Khan.
On keyboards, ArogyaRaj adds harmonic richness and melodic depth, giving the group its layered, evolving sound.
Together, BCN Collective is a meeting of strong musical voices led by Jonás Oliver’s saxophone, where improvisation and interplay take center stage.
