Grammy-nominated Austrian composer, percussionist, and Handpan innovator Manu Delago returns to India with his trio. Known for his dynamic performances and genre-blending sound, Delago has toured over 50 countries and gained global recognition with his viral Handpan solo Mono Desire (2007). He has collaborated with leading artists such as Björk, Anoushka Shankar, The Cinematic Orchestra, Shpongle, Ellie Goulding, and Ólafur Arnalds, earning two Grammy nominations for his work with Shankar.
Delago’s creative projects, including Metromonk (2017) and the award-winning Parasol Peak (2018), showcase his fusion of acoustic, electronic, and natural sounds. Deeply committed to sustainability, he launched the ReCycling Tour, a groundbreaking eco-friendly concert tour by bicycle across Europe, later captured in the film From the Alps to the North Sea. His solo album Environ Me (2021) further reflects his passion for nature and innovation, cementing his reputation as one of today’s most forward-thinking percussionists.
