The Guy Velvet band is a high-energy dance blues and rock & roll outfit, starring Guy Velvet, the "rightful heir to the legacy of blues music," known for his iconic velvet jacket and blues harmonica.
The New Delhi-based group includes Rohit Bhattacharya on the bass, trumpet player Priyansh Jindal, who is inspired by legends like Roy Hargrove and Miles Davis, and Delhi-based guitarist and audio engineer Mayank Lawrence. The band is also joined by multi-instrumentalist Rishabh Puri, who focuses on jazz and blues, primarily playing the flute.
