Chie Nishikori is a trombonist and trumpeter from Izumo, Japan, who has been playing wind instruments since her school days. Now based in Delhi NCR, she performs regularly with her band Chizai and has collaborated with acts like Medieval Punditz, Karsh Kale, and BollyJazz. Trained at the Blue Note School of Music, she’s a sought-after horn player in the indie and fusion music circuits.

The collective features versatile artists like Hindustani-trained soprano Yashasvi Bhardwaj, jazz and pop singer-songwriter Shantha, and Nepali-Indian vocalist Christina Gurung, whose heartfelt songwriting blends cultural influences. The rhythm section is powered by drummer Sarthak Bhayana, bassist Arjun Ghai, guitarist Kartik Chandel, and multi-instrumentalist Aniket Chaturvedi on flute and sax. Keyboardist-producer Akhilesh Khandelwal rounds out the lineup, bringing a rich palette of genres—from prog to hip hop—to the mix.
